Sorry for my lack of updates, but I have been pretty busy as of late, with various musical projects as well as working on some projects for my Video Editing class. However, I am currently working on getting some new videos to be posted. However, I am not sure if they will be around for long (due to the nature of the video that is to be posted), so I will keep you updated on that. All I can say is that you will MARVEL at the videos once I post them.

Awhile back on the Generation Kikaida forums, a poster by the name of Arislan posted a few videos he subtitled (namely the Zubat episode previously posted). Turns out since I uploaded that video, he has been back at work on some new videos! Most recently, he posted Episode 1 of the Nebula Mask Machineman series! Up until this video, I have not herd anything about the series (my love for Tokusatsu is mostly stuck in the 70s.), but after checking out this video, it kinda makes me want to find more new shows!

I was told by Arislan that this video is a one-off, but if you want more, make your voice herd!

Kinnikuman Eps. 1-5

A little while ago, a fansubbing group that focused on Fist of the North star related projects began work on the OG Kinnikuman series. However, after 5 episodes, they lost there translator and put the project on hold. However, since they are still looking for translators to continue the project, I am not considering the project as canceled. And since the group is still active, you can go to there website and download Kinnikuman, as well as many other projects, both Fist related and unrelated.

Petition for Marvel US to release the Japanese Spiderman onto DVD

xAs we all know, Marvel.com has the entire Japanese Spiderman that was released by Toei in 1978. We all know that this series would sell extremely well in America, due to the fact that not only is the Tokusatsu community growing, but the Spiderman fan base is pretty much the largest in the world.

Outside of Japan, the series is nearly impossible to find raws, never mind subtitles. However, if you browse the marvel.com website, you can see all 41 episodes in full subtitled glory!

And this got me to thinking, if shows relatively unknown outside Hawaii and the west coast in America can be released onto DVD, why can’t Marvel and Toei come to an agreement to release the Japanese series onto DVD? We all know how much this series is wanted and needed, and if we all unite to show our interest, maybe Marvel will take note and perhaps they will release a limited edition box set at the least.

I have been collecting randomness from various DVDs and websites for awhile now, but eventually I will have everything in my possession uploaded. This is where you come in. I am looking for ANYTHING related to 70s and 80s anime and Toku shows. It does not matter if it is one episode or an entire series. Anything you can help with would help out alot. Also I have gotten a few questions regarding the site:

- I have no hand in translating or fansubbing any of the projects uploaded to this site.

Yatterman 1977 Eps. 1 and 2

Chances are, we've all herd of Yatterman. A few years ago they did a re-make of the Anime, and last year they released a full length motion picture. However, for the longest time the OG 1977 anime series has eluded me. That was, up until I found a torrent site with the first two episodes fansubbed. And as they say, something is better then nothing!

Welcome to Toku One Offs!

Welcome to Toku One Offs, a collection of one-offs, incomplete and abandoned projects in the anime and tokusatsu genres. The purpose of this blog is to collect episodes that were part of a larger project, but due to reasons (lost translators, group closure or other reasons),, the projects were unfinished.

How many times have you wondered if a Tokusatsu show was ever fansubbed? I know personally it has happened quite a few times where I have been looking for series, and stumbled across a few select episodes somewhere down the line. The goal of this blog is to make this materiel easier to access then having to search the internet high and low for said projects.

Right now the main focus will be 70s tokusatsu/anime. However, if anyone wishes to contribute any episodes from other series, they are more then welcome. So if you have anything to share, please let me know!
